Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol – Echuca

MGA Independent Retailers delivers Responsible Service of Alcohol training sessions on behalf of the Victorian Commission for Gambling and Liquor Regulation (VCGLR).

VCGLR has announced it is no longer appropriate for RSA VIC courses to be delivered in any format other than classroom based.

The Code of Conduct Packaged Liquor Licenses (section 7) requires the following:

  • All staff employed to serve alcohol must undertake this course within one month of their commencement of employment at a licensed premises
  • From 1 January 2011, an applicant for a general, on-premises, packaged liquor and late night license must complete an approved RSA course prior to the license being granted

Training is delivered by Master Grocers Australia - RTO Code: 21148 – This is a non accredited course

Course Delivery

The RSA program is a 4 hour workshop set up by the Department of Justice, State Government of Victoria and run by Master Grocers accredited RSA trainers.

Written assessment is completed during classroom activities.

On successful completion of all course requirements participants will receive:

This course is approved by the The Victorian Commission for Gambling and Liquor Regulation (VCGLR).
